Caitlyn Bogart is a highly versatile musician working at the intersection of jazz, classical, and musical theater genres. Originally from Dallas, TX, she is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan for Voice & Opera with a minor in Musical Theater Composition. 

She’s performed in concerts around the country as a vocalist, including the 4th of July Spectacular Concert with the Santa Rosa Symphony, Detroit Jazz Fest with the UMich Jazz Ensemble, and the 2023 University of Michigan Spring Commencement at the Big House as well as at Hill Auditorium for SMTD’s Collage in 2024 and 2025, and the Michigan Pops Orchestra’s Fall Concert at The Michigan Theater.

As a music director, Caitlyn’s work started in college, and has since worked on Kill The Boy Band (workshop), Catch Me If You Can (Univ. of Mich), Indecent (Univ. of Mich), and various independent productions and pit orchestras. She is a member of MAESTRA and has participated in their Mentorship Program. Regionally, she worked as a Music Assistant & performer for Transcendence Theater Company in Sonoma, CA. She sang at select performances and received praise from Broadway World San Francisco.

She performed with the Jazz Lab Band at UMich for three years under the direction of Dennis Wilson, performing locally at The Blue Llama Jazz Club, The Ark, The North Star Lounge, Venue by 4M, and with Swing Ann Arbor as a vocalist. 

She’ll be attending the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland this fall to pursue an MA in Musical Direction.
